Zacron Patron of Memories in Music gives his support to 'Cool Britannia' and a new approach in public art.

Zacron, Patron of Memories in Music gives his support to a new marketing scheme

pioneered by Phil Dowsey to represent a new kind of store in Piccadilly - Cool Britannia.

The scheme involves visual street and in-store theatre to inspire the public into collecting

memorabilia around the theme of Britain and London, from Cool Britannia.

Some collectibles are extremely large; the sky is the limit as the public are entertained

by people wearing some very collectible costumes. Many are surprised by the surrealism

of the event when they realise the strangeness of the performance.

Young actors, dancers and people who like dressing up and performing are being sought

after to play a part in this exciting scenario.

Zacron, Patron of Memories in Music, Directed by Annie Hollinshead, is pioneering a new

and exciting way to work for important charities through unique collections of memorabilia

coupled with exhibitions and live performances including full-blown concerts.

Many world-renowned music stars are now on board and important events are being

discussed that will take place around the country.

'Cool Britannia' is also at an interesting stage of development in taking on board some of

these elements.

Zacron, who himself has a vast collection of period graphics, fine art, costumes, objects,

objet d'art and objet trouve', is inspired by the history of visual language and the

richness of material through the ages and particularly the rich heraldry of London.

The artist states 'As an artist I find myself being intensely selective in examining all aspects

of an object and its implications whether it is profound or ephemeral.'
