The Artists' Soirée, Art Auction on behalf of the Arts Club

Charitable Trust and Excellence in Drawing Awards, 18th May 2009

The Arts Club in Mayfair London came alive with celebrities from

the world of art. Inge Borg Scott introduced and hosted the evening

(top left). Zacron gave a piano recital during the champagne reception.

The Excellence in Drawing awards is sponsored by the Arts Club

Charitable Trust, Sir Peter Blake presented the awards.

The art auction featured work by Mary Feddon, Ken Howard RA,

Maurice Cockrill RA, Anthony Whishaw RA, Zacron and Sir Peter Blake RA.

Works by Zacron included 'Memento of Childhood' purchased by publisher

Sheldon Marshall (top center) and 'Garden Almanac' purchased by Stella

Kane, Secretary of the Authors' Club.

The auction was conducted by Caroline Oliphant of Bonhams and the collection

was presided over by Isaac Ababio (top right).
